The "La Fontana" restaurant is located in the town of Carzeto di Soragna on Via
Maestra heading towards San Secondo. The restaurant's name comes from the nearby
fountain of "YOUTH". The restaurant is run by the chef Andrea and his wife Rosanna.
With their pleasant and courteous manners, they will welcome you and invite you
to taste the local dishes of the area: salumi misti con culatello (assorted cured
meats and cold cuts, including choice cut Parma ham from Zibello), tortelli d'erbetta
(stuffed with ricotta and spinach), Fortana del Toro wine, torta fritta (fried
bread dough pieces) and spalla cotta di San Secondo (cooked pork shoulder from
San Secondo).
