Located 17km from Parma on a hillside on the edge of the Carrega (regional park) wood  the restaurant is an old typically refined trattoria. The menu thrives above all on local and seasonal produce. The list choices available are rich in Italian and foreign wines. The current management team of Adele Padovani overseeing the dining room, and her husband Giancarlo Camorali in the kitchen, was established in 1966. The establishment has been a family run concern since 1930 and has since then borne the name "Trattoria di Cafragna".
