"Alle Roncole" Restaurant is located in the centre of Roncole, a small village outside of Busseto famous for being the birthplace of Giuseppe Verdi and the home of author Giovannino Guareschi who, in 1964, opened his own famous restaurant there. Today, this tradition is continued by Carduccio Pedretti who offers traditional cuisine based on specialties of the Parma region, all prepared on-premises. This pride in the area's gastronomic heritage is also mirrored in RETAIL SALE OF CURED MEATS such as culatello, fiocchetto, spalla, coppa, salame and pancetta, all made without preservatives by Carduccio's father, Nereo, and lovingly aged in their brick-lined cellar.
