Placed in a fruitful plain 20 kms. far from Parma, Fontevivo Relais is an out-building of the famous Abbey, a representative monument of the Middle Ages art. Very close to the most important communication lines, such as the Emilia way, in a strategical position for trade exchanges, named Food Valley, Fontevivo Relais will be a pleasant stop for all the people travelling Parma and its district for spare time or for business.
Nevertheless it has been transformed in a hotel, the building has maintained the original architectonic plan with its 17 guest rooms, and exactly 11 single and 6 double ones (all of them with private bathroom), arranged from the ancient monastery cells.
An evocative meeting room, arranged in the monastery chapel, is well equipped for every event, workshop and cocktail. The magnificent cloister and the restaurant room can be arranged up to 200 people: an ideal solution for banqueting, happenings and weddings to celebrate in a very unique atmosphere.
The Restaurant "Twelve Monks", recently opened, is located where, in the ancient time, there was the Refectory room. You can taste the specialities of local cooking with the creative touch of our chef Andrea NIZZI and a wide selection of wines according to menu proposals.
