Stendhal Restaurant is something more than a pension, is a place with a very
old tradition. It takes the name from the famous writer of “Certosa di Parma”.
Who knows the restaurant's story, can easily understand why people continue to
go to this restaurant. The restaurant offers a big air-conditioned room on the
ground floor(it could contain 120 people) and another room like the one on the
first floor and you can find a friendly and elegant atmosphere.. The restaurant
has got a veranda with a beautiful vision in our indoor garden near the Po river.
There is the chance during sunny days, you can make an excursion near the Po river.
We pay attention to all requirements of our costumers.
Our chef Mara Mordacci and Simone Brunazzi made our specialties from the traditional
Parmesan and Emilian cuisine and all our food are cooked with ability.
Our specialties are: “culatello” (cured pork loin), Assorted meat cold-cuts “Anolini”
(Anolini round pasta with meat filling), Tortelli with swiss chard, and Tagliatelle.
All dishes are prepared following ancient receipts. As second courses, we offer:
Assorted boiled meats, Roast meat, Thinly-sliced raw meat, roast of lamb; if you
want you can taste some fish food like Sturgeon, Eel, classic “psola”, fried fish,
Bass and Catalan. You can choose among a very big range of sweets like: egg flip,
typical cake and biscuits, creme brulè and craft ice cream.
Remarkable is the wine list, served by our sommelier Valerio Barbieri.
