Set in an enchanting location near the banks of the Po river, in Coltaro di Sissa (PR) the Storione, meaning The Great Story, has a Restaurant, a Pizzeria, and a Pub and its own swimming pool. It offers a menu that is closely associated with the culinary traditions of the lowlands of the "Bassa Parmense" region. Customers can savour the delights of traditional dishes such as 'Culatello', cured pork from Zibello, the world renowned Parma Ham, 'Spalla Cotta', cooked shoulder of pork from San Secondo, fresh home made pastas such as 'Tortelli d'Erbetta', herb filled pasta parcels, roast meat dishes, or the famous 'Parmigiano Reggiano', Parmesan cheese. All of these can be enjoyed in the company of some excellent local wines.

Every night the Pizzeria offers delicious pizzas, and the Pub, as well as offering the excellent CARLING  (England's number 1) beer, offers sandwiches, rolls, garlic bread, toasted bread delicacies, to those seeking a simple snack. On Friday and Saturday evening during the Summer months it stages concerts and live musical entertainment.
