NATURAL PARK

Beside the Appennino Tosco – Emiliano National Park, there are 4 regional park in our district:

• Regional Park Carrega Woods
• Fluvial Regional Park Taro
• Fluvial Regional Park Stirone
• Regional Park Cento Laghi

There are some guarded areas as well: the Natural Preserve Parma Morta placed inside the flood bed of the Po River for 5 km, the Natural Preserve oriented Monte Prinzera a real box of geologic aspects, the park of Monte Fuso near Scurano, typical for the presence of stags, deers and equipped for turistic facilities and Oasi “Cavaliere d’Italia created by LIPU in favour of water birds.
